Suit or No Suit

Last week, at a career forum for first year law students, I was asked whether students should wear a suit to a job interview.  This was asked in the context that so many firms now have a “relaxed” dress code.

My answer — A job seeker should always wear a suit.  However, if the interviewer told him/her not to wear a suit, the job seeker should dress as instructed.
